The worker(s) in question must have completed fall protection training that met the requirements of section 26.2(1) of O. Reg. 213/91 (Construction Projects) before April 1, 2015, and the worker must be enrolled in a WAH training program.   Working at Heights training course is mandatory for all job-site construction workers who are using the fall protection equipment. If you don’t have latest WAH Certificate you will not be able to work at heights and may be subjected to a fine. As a partner of IHSA we are able to provide proper Working at Heights training according to the Ontario regulations. You may come to our Toronto training center located in the North York or we can come out and teach at your work site location in Mississauga, Oakville, Vaughan, Brampton, Maple, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Scarborough, Markham and other cities inside and around the Greater Toronto Area.     Working At Height Training Course
DURATION: 6.5 hours. REQUIREMENTS: Valid piece of ID, hard hat, safety boots and safety glasses. CERTIFICATION: Working at Heights – Fundamentals of Fall Prevention   Working at Height Training is now mandatory for all construction workers in Ontario. Our course has been approved by the Chief Prevention Officer of the Ontario Ministry of Labour and includes all aspects of fall prevention on the workplace.   Unfortunately, falls are nearly number on hazard on job sites and are the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry. This course provides participants with the basic knowledge needed to work safely in work areas where there may be exposure to fall hazards. The course addresses safe practices and procedures as specified in Regulations empowered by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. This course requires a full day and delivered in two parts: a theoretical portion in the morning and a practical component in the afternoon.   Students are instructed on how to plan, protect and prepare themselves and their work site to identify and prevent surface falls as well as to work safely from heights within all guidelines and regulations. Our in-depth training follows the parameters of the new training standard. Quality is assured – we guarantee you will receive a complete and comprehensive day of training that includes all Ministry Of Labour requirements.
