Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps Course

According to the Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) as of July 1, 2015 Worker Health and Safety Awareness training is mandatory for every worker in Ontario. Worker Health and Safety Awareness online course inform workers of their legislated health and safety rights, roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace safety. SF Safety Foundation LTD is happy to provide professional online training for students in and around the Greater Toronto Area. Worker Health and Safety Awareness online course explains your rights and responsibilities as a worker on the job in Ontario, and what the province’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires from workers, supervisors and employers. It is important to understand what the law says and means so that you know your roles and responsibilities, and how this knowledge helps you to stay safe at work. You also need to be aware of common hazards in the workplace, and what to watch out for. This training ensures that both workers and employers understand their rights and obligations under the OHSA. Under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, companies with 6-19 employees are required to ensure their worker-selected, Health and Safety Representative receives specific training to effectively perform his/her legal duties. A trained Health and Safety Representative will make a difference in the level of safety in your workplace. In this online training participants will learn how to exercise their considerable legal powers, including carrying out workplace inspections, identifying hazards and assessing risks.
