Amending regulation 242/16 introduced important changes to the Construction Projects regulation (O. Reg. 213/91) regarding suspended work platform systems (swing stage rigging). These updates took effect on January 1, 2017, and include essential training requirements for anyone using, installing, or inspecting these systems and boatswain’s (bosun’s) chairs.

Our swing stage program teaches you how to safely operate suspended work platform systems and powered boatswain’s chairs. This course is designed to meet the updated training requirements outlined in the Construction Projects regulation (O. Reg. 213/91, s. 138) and Window Cleaning regulation (Reg. 859, s. 45).

REQUIREMENTS:
🏗️ Working at Heights – Fundamentals of Fall Prevention certificate
🆔 Valid piece of ID
🦺 Hard hat, safety boots, and safety glasses
CERTIFICATION: Suspended access equipment users
Training must be completed before first platform use, then every 3 years (or sooner if needed).
