Worker Health and Safety Awareness online course explains your rights and responsibilities as a worker on the job in Ontario, and what the province’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires from workers, supervisors and employers.

You also need to be aware of common hazards in the workplace, and what to watch out for. This training ensures that both workers and employers understand their rights and obligations under the OHSA.
Under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, companies with 6-19 employees are required to ensure their worker-selected, Health and Safety Representative receives specific training to effectively perform his/her legal duties. A trained Health and Safety Representative will make a difference in the level of safety in your workplace.
